IBM Thinkpad i Series 1420
I own an IBM Thinkpad i series 1420. I've had it for about a year and love it. With a 433Mhz Celeron proccecor and 32 megs of RAM. The only draw back, that I can find, is the small hardive (only 4.5 gigs). But it gets the job done. The caseing is strong a durable, and will hold up to bumps and dings (belive me I konow). The CD-ROM is exelent at 24X. The only really bad part of the computer is the "track point" but it is easly fixed by installing an external mouse through the USB port or the regular mouse port. If you happen to be searching for an entry level laptop this could be the one for you.
